The new and improved Southern Cross Website went live on the 6th November 2006. This site is more than your average website - it is a customer application that provides a range of functionality and information to Southern Cross customers so that they have all the information they need at their fingertips.
The site has a fresh new look, is easier to use, has great new functionality and is designed with Southern Cross Customers in mind.
The Customer Section is the heart of the website and a number of improvements have been made to provide customers with even more information about their business with Southern Cross. Now available online is the management of capacity requests, availability reports, billing and circuit information, operations policies… the list goes on.
The most important new feature of the site is the provision of real time Network Status information. As soon as a customer logs in, they can immediately see the status of their circuits and find out all they need to know about any network events affecting them.

"The website is becoming a valuable information and servicing channel and with the introduction of the Network Status functionality, our customers can now get a complete picture of everything that is affecting their Southern Cross circuits from one place."
"Providing network status information online is a key milestone, but we aren't stopping there. We are already looking at what other online tools and information we can offer" Mr Pfeffer continued.
