2006 Customer Meeting Attendees

By popular demand, this years Southern Cross Customer Meeting headed back to Hawaii, and Kona on the beautiful Big Island played host to the 2006 annual event.

The event, held at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Spa took place on the 26th and 27th September and was well attended with 21 customer representatives taking part in this years meeting.

The two day meeting saw customers updated on operations and maintenance activities, what is coming up in 2007 and the results of the 2006 customer satisfaction survey. Delegates were also given a sneak preview of the new Southern Cross website.

“The real value of these meetings is that it gives us the opportunity to meet with our customers face to face and to talk about a range of issues relating to the running of the Southern Cross Network” said Dean Veverka, Southern Cross’s Director Networks and VP Operations, “as always the lively discussion sessions provided us with useful feedback and we have taken on board a number of action points as a result”.

A lu’au was the main event on the social calendar, and while feasting on Hawaiian delicacies such as banana bread entertainment was provided in the form of songs and dances from the Pacific region.
