When you first log into the Customer Section the first page you see is the Network Status page. This allows you to see instantly whether there are any network events affecting your Southern Cross Circuits.
• The network diagram highlights any segments currently being affected by a network event. Segments affected by a fault are shown in red, segments affected by a hazardous condition are shown in orange and segments affected by planned work are shown in green.
• The Your Circuits table shows all your commissioned circuits. Clicking on a circuit id will bring up a window that displays availability, MUX and MIU information. Any relevant Network Event details will also be displayed here.
• Resting your mouse on a circuit id (in the Your Circuits table) will cause that circuits routing to be highlighted in light blue on the network graph – the routing will be highlighted in the relevant colour if it is being impacted by a network event i.e. red for fault, orange for hazardous condition and green for planned work.
• When a circuit is affected by a network event it will appear at the top of the Your Circuits table and be highlighted according to event type i.e. red for fault, orange for hazardous condition and green for planned work.
• If a circuit is being affected by more than one event it will be duplicated in the Your Circuits table.
• When a network event is closed the information will be removed from the Network Status page but will still be available from the Historical Event pop up window (the link to this is in the Your Circuits table). Therefore a history of events for each circuit will be available.
• For planned work – the affected circuits will be highlighted as soon as the planned work notification is received, however the segment(s) (on the network diagram) being affected by the planned work will not highlight until the planned work window commences and will be highlighted for the duration of the planned work window.
